The Bore Tech Proof-Positive Patch Loop is a brass-free bore cleaning loop designed for use with copper removal products. The design eliminates the false copper readings that can occur with traditional brass loops.

The visher is made of a special alloy and further processed using Bore Tech technology. The material has properties similar to brass in softness, but is characterized by high tensile strength, which helps prevent bending and breakage when working with a tightly installed patch.

Traditional brass vishers contain significant amounts of copper, which when exposed to copper removal agents can cause the patch to turn blue even when there is no copper deposits in the bore. Using the Proof-Positive Patch Loop eliminates this factor and allows for more precise control over the cleaning process.

Design and features

The Proof-Positive Patch Loop is precision machined to tight tolerances to provide the necessary contact and pressure of the patch on the bore surface during cleaning.

The exact dimensions of the visher are calculated so that a properly selected Bore Tech X-Count patch does not bunch up or get stuck while passing through the barrel bore.

When used with Bore Tech Proof-Positive Bore Stix or Action Cleaning Tool Kits, the wiper provides a smooth transition between the nozzle and the ramrod without sharp edges.
