The DPM Captured Buffer is a mechanical recoil reduction system for AR-15, M-16 and AR-10 platforms for heavy .308 / 7.62 cartridges . The 82 mm / 3.2" buffer length version is a direct replacement for the stock buffer and does not require weapon modification.

Design and operating principle

The DPM system uses a patented recoil-absorbing mechanism that controls the movement of the bolt group during the weapon's firing cycle. This helps reduce recoil and component stress, as well as improve weapon control during rapid fire.

The buffer is made in the Captured Version format and is designed for use with the standard Carbine Buffer length - 82 mm / 3.2" .
