Helikon-Tex Level 7 Jacket - Nylon is a warm winter jacket designed for use in cold and difficult weather conditions. The model is created in accordance with the 3rd generation ECWCS concept and acts as the outer, warmest layer of the clothing system.

Combining lightweight Climashield® Apex™ synthetic insulation , durable Ripstop Nylon fabric, and a functional construction with adjustments, insulated pockets, a hood, and a two-way zipper, the Level 7 jacket is suitable for military, tactical, outdoor, and everyday use in cold weather.

Climashield® Apex™ insulation

For insulation, Helikon-Tex used Climashield® Apex™ with a density of 100 g/m² . The synthetic insulation retains heat even when wet and does not clump, unlike natural down.

Climashield® Apex™ combines light weight, effective thermal insulation, breathability and compact compression. The jacket can be washed in a washing machine according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Durable Ripstop Nylon

The outer fabric of the jacket is made of 100% Nylon and has a Ripstop structure . The reinforced structure of the material helps prevent further damage to the fabric, increasing its durability during use.

The material provides protection from wind, moisture and snow, while maintaining the necessary breathability. The outer surface has a hydrophobic coating , which reduces the penetration of moisture and dirt and simplifies the care of the jacket.

Well-thought-out design

• Adjustable cuffs - Velcro fasteners allow you to adjust the width of the sleeves to suit your wrists and conditions of use.
• Bottom hem adjustment - drawstring allows you to change the fit of the jacket and reduce the penetration of cold air.
• The large hood is helmet-compatible, adjustable with elastic cords, and can be tucked into the collar.
• The fleece lining of the collar provides additional comfort when worn.
• A two-way YKK® zipper provides convenient access to gear under the jacket and allows you to adjust thermal comfort.
• Velcro panels on the shoulders allow you to personalize the jacket and attach matching patches.

The Level 7 design includes 5 functional pockets that are convenient to use even with gloves.

• 2 external chest pockets with fleece lining and additional compartments for a phone and small equipment.
• 1 internal chest pocket with zipper for documents, phone and other important items.
• 2 lower inner mesh pockets. They can be used to place wet items, such as gloves, for faster drying.

3rd generation ECWCS system

ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) is a multi-layered clothing system designed for work and survival in harsh weather conditions. Each layer performs a separate function: from moisture wicking and thermal insulation to protection from wind, snow and cold.

Level 7 is the outer and warmest layer of this system. The jacket is designed to be worn over other layers of clothing when the maximum level of thermal insulation is required.
