Kevlar helmet Sestan-Busch MICH (Croatia)

The Sestan-Busch MICH ballistic helmet (Croatia) is a modern means of personal armor protection, modeled after the American MICH helmet (Modular Integrated Communications Helmet), which is actively used by the US Army and NATO countries. It provides a high level of head protection against fragments, bullets, blast waves and impact injuries, combining reliability with comfort and modularity.

The MICH model has a low (Low Cut) or standard cut without a visor that opens the ears - this ensures maximum compatibility with active headphones, headsets, communication devices and other accessories, while leaving sufficient protection for the side zones.

The Sestan-Busch MICH is designed in Croatia to meet the latest technical requirements for combat helmets: it is lightweight, ergonomic, and resistant to external influences, including extreme temperatures and humidity.

Materials and protection

The construction uses multilayer aramid fiber (Kevlar), which is known for its ability to effectively absorb and dissipate impact energy. EBSP (Enhanced Ballistic Shell Protection) technology allows the helmet to withstand impacts according to the NIJ IIIA standard - stopping 9 mm and .44 Magnum bullets, and also provides protection against fragments at speeds up to 650–680 m/s according to STANAG 2920.
