LOWA Zephyr MK2 GTX MID TF is a tactical mid-season mid-height boot designed for active movement in difficult and rugged terrain. The updated version of the legendary Zephyr series has an improved foot support and protection system, a more wear-resistant upper and an updated non-slip sole. The model combines the comfort of lightweight hiking boots with the level of stability and support characteristic of more rigid trekking shoes.

The LOWA Zephyr MK2 GTX MID TF is designed for long-term use during active movement and carrying loads. The multi-layered structure of the boot helps to provide the necessary balance between mobility, stability, protection and comfort.

The upper is made from a combination of natural suede and Cordura® inserts. The suede is 2.0-2.2 mm thick and provides structural strength, while the Cordura® helps reduce weight and increase durability. In the updated version of the Zephyr MK2, the seam in the flex area has been moved from the toe to the middle of the boot, which reduces the stress on the material when walking and increases the durability of the upper.

The GORE-TEX® membrane is responsible for protection against precipitation and moisture. It prevents water from penetrating inside and at the same time provides vapor permeability, helping to maintain a comfortable microclimate during active movement. Additionally, between the outer and inner layers, a foam with a closed-cell structure is used that does not absorb moisture.

The improved LOWA MONOWRAP® Stability Frame midsole is a three-dimensional structure between the upper and the sole. It provides stabilization and lateral support to the foot, and also promotes a more controlled foot position when moving over uneven terrain.

The molded sole construction combines multiple layers into a single system. During production, the upper, midsole, and outsole are joined together using a direct injection process, ensuring the strength of the structure and a secure connection between its components.

The LOWA® X-TRAC® Military outsole is made of an optimized rubber compound and provides reliable traction on a variety of surfaces. The self-cleaning tread works well on both dirt and asphalt. Slip Resistance technology increases slip resistance on wet, slippery and oily surfaces.

The sole also has heat and cold insulation properties, increased anti-slip characteristics, resistance to fuel, oil and contact heat. This makes the LOWA Zephyr MK2 GTX MID TF a versatile option for demanding operating conditions.

For precise fixation of the foot, a two-zone lacing system with closed hooks is provided. It allows you to independently adjust the tension in the lower and upper parts of the shoe. A blocker in the middle additionally holds the lace at the desired level, and the closed hook design reduces the risk of the laces catching on foreign objects.

For ease of use, there is a small pocket for laces on the tongue, and a loop at the back of the boot makes it easier to put on. The removable LOWA Professional insole provides additional comfort during prolonged wear.
