Hemostatic bandage MARCH Celox RAPID Military

MARCH Celox RAPID Military is a sterile hemostatic bandage for emergency control of severe bleeding. The bandage contains Celox granules based on chitosan, which upon contact with blood contribute to the formation of a gel-like clot and occlusion of the source of bleeding.

The product is intended for use in situations where it is necessary to quickly pack a wound. According to the stated characteristics, Celox RAPID can be used even in conditions of hypothermia or slow blood clotting.

The bandage has a compact Z-fold format , which simplifies its storage and allows for quick removal of the material from the packaging during first aid. The bandage size is 7.6 cm × 1.5 m .

One of the features of Celox RAPID is the absence of heat generation during application. This allows the use of a hemostatic bandage without the additional risk of thermal tissue damage associated with heating the hemostatic agent.
