The Merrell Moab 3 GTX is a men's trekking shoe for hiking, traveling and everyday use. The model combines a durable suede and mesh upper, a waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane and a Vibram® TC5+ outsole, providing comfort and protection when moving over a variety of terrain types.
Moisture protection and materials
The GORE-TEX® membrane prevents water from entering the shoe while allowing water vapor to escape. The upper is made of pigskin suede and breathable mesh. A sewn-in tongue helps prevent dust, small stones, and other debris from entering.
Comfort and cushioning
A removable Kinetic Fit™ ADVANCED footbed provides support for the foot. A molded nylon arch supports proper foot placement, while an EVA foam midsole and Merrell Air Cushion technology in the heel help absorb shock as you walk. A Super Rebound Compound midsole provides additional cushioning.
Grip and stability
The Vibram® TC5+ outsole is designed for active use on a variety of surfaces. The 5 mm tread depth provides excellent traction on hiking trails. Rubber protective elements in the toe and heel areas reduce the risk of shoe damage.
