The muzzle brake-compensator "Strila" is designed for installation on Saiga-type carbines of caliber 5.45×39 mm with a landing thread of 24×1.5 mm. The design of the DGK provides an effective reduction in recoil impulse and barrel throw due to the directed removal of powder gases.
