The Bronyx BRO-SAP3-MB side armor plate is designed for additional protection of the side areas of the torso when using body armor and plate carriers. The plate is sold individually , which allows you to purchase the required quantity depending on the configuration of the equipment.

The plate complies with protection class 3 according to DSTU 8782:2018 and provides protection against 5.45x39 mm PS and 7.62x39 mm PS bullets .

The maximum depth of armor deformation is up to 8 mm for 5.45x39 mm PS and up to 22 mm for 7.62x39 mm PS.

Construction

The plate has a multilayer construction:

• 1st layer: ULPHPE — ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene;
• 2nd layer: foamed polyethylene;
• Outer protective layer: Oxford.

The dual-plane curve provides a more anatomical fit and comfort while wearing. The Shooter's Cut shape helps maintain mobility and is compatible with most modern plate carriers.
