The Vortex Defender-ST Red Dot is a compact, rugged, and versatile red dot sight designed for fast, accurate aiming at close to medium ranges. Designed for use on pistols, rifles, and tactical platforms, the Vortex Defender-ST Red Dot combines a wide field of view, a sharp 3 MOA dot , extensive field capabilities , and long battery life to deliver excellent performance in any environment.

The reticle is a bright 3 MOA red dot , which provides quick target acquisition and good visibility in various lighting conditions. The illumination system offers 12 brightness levels (10 daytime + 2 for compatibility with night vision devices), allowing you to adapt the sight to any light.

The scope is constructed from durable 7075-T6 anodized aluminum with a ShockShield™ polymer insert that helps protect the optics from recoil and impact. The large aspherical lens provides a wide, distortion-free viewing angle, and the top-mounted battery allows for battery replacement without re-alignment .

Defender-ST features a DeltaPoint® Pro mounting standard (footprint) , making it compatible with many platforms and adapters, and all controls are designed for convenience in everyday use.
